Costume Planning

We plan for the costumes of our character's to fit the roles as much as possible.
For Benjamin, we hope to use a black suit jacket, white shirt, tie, black trousers and black shoes. We feel this will create the right representation as he is in his place of work and must look professional and fitting of the job. When it comes to filming though, we might decide to alter a few aspects of his costume, the tie for example, as it might make his character seem more casual with the situation, which is what we want. We want his character to be more casual as he is supposed to be someone that Jasper feel's comfortable enough to open up to. An up-tight looking therapist is not someone that Jasper would feel comfortable with.
Perhaps the shirt being open collared and without a tie would create the look that we're hoping for.
Jasper's costume is going to be one that clearly represent her desire to be comfortable and warm. Her costume must consist of basic items of clothing such as trousers, a jumper and trainers. This is because she's going through a hard time and doesn't feel good about herself and must be as comfortable as possible. Her costume must also seemingly contradict Benjamin's. He is in his workplace and Jasper is seeking his help, he must look the part and professional and she must appear vulnerable.
We hope to achieve this through their costumes.
